I wrote a little while ago about an attempt to displace the English Defence League from Goolge searh top spot for EDL. It seems like the campaign's making progress. The English Disco Lovers (EDL) site was the fourth result for a Google search for EDL when I checked just now (your results may vary...), which is quite impressive. I find the idea of using SEO as a way of countering the promotion of hate and prejudice very interesting (having a geeky interest in SEO anyway) and the whole cheesy disco element of EDL is the perfect antidote to the po-faced resentment and aggresion embodied by the other EDL...
Of course I'm largely writing this update as an excuse to link to the EDL site in support of this campaign. Up yours English Defence League, you ignorant numpties...
