Okay, after provaricating for an age over whether or not to get an i-pod, and several schemes to acquire an i-pod or mini i-pod on the cheap, I've finally found a cheap(ish) way of getting one, and I'm taking the plunge.
I won't bore you with the details, but sufficient to say the Apple stork is winging it's way over to me as we speak (and taking it's time about it, by the way). But my patience will be rewarded, and soon:
"Mr. Talbot, it's white and silver, 40 pounds, I mean gig, congratulations"
or alternatively,
"It's just an i-pod, you freak."
Still, can't wait... Unfortunately my CD-ROM drive is broken, and my hard drive is full, so the i-pod's going to be pretty much useless until I get around to a bit of home IT support.
