Stranger than fiction?

18 July 2007 - 3:50pm -- Joseph

I've just been playing with Google's webmaster tools, which enable you to do all sorts of rather interesting but slightly geeky things with regard to the Google ranking of sites that you have control over.

I was looking at a list of sites that link to Oneironaut (my online comic), and found that Bill Gerrard, one of the characters in Oneironaut, has been indexed as a real person by the 'business information search engine' ZoomInfo, based purely on my web page.

Here's Bill's profile on Zoominfo.

Why they didn't index all the characters as people I don't know, but it is a little strange that someone I made up is now listed in a business website...
