I wrote a post some time ago about Keep In Time: Talking Drums and Whispering Vinyl, a short documentary film that DJ Shadow had shown at a gig. It was about legendary funk drummers collaborating with DJ's.
Well, my good friend John Pilbeam has come up with the goods and located tha damn thing. Keep In Time: Talking Drums and Whispering Vinyl is an extra feature of the DVD section of Keepintime, a CD/DVD released in the uk by Ninja Tune. Which is great, because this means not only do I get film I've been after, but also a longer film of the event that was inspired by the original short, PLUS (I think) a music CD which shoud be pretty funky...
I swiftly went on the net and found it for as cheap as I could, (nine quid - one quid cheaper than Amazon, and three or four quid cheaper than HMV) and ordered it.
Of course, in my haste, I forgot to check the avaiability and shipping times, so which turned out to be two days to source, two days to despatch and three to six days delivery time.
So I'm still waiting. Should have splashed that extra quid at Amazon and got it sooner (okay, extra ten pounds to buy Supergrass' new album as well to get free P&P, I'm a £pound;19 supersaver delivery junkie).
Less haste, more speed, Joseph...
