Well, it's New Year's Day, so I fell like making some resolutions, and where better to make them than here, so that everyone can berate me when I don't stick to 'em?

So we've drawn Sweden in the group stages of the World Cup again.
A few hours before the draw, a friend of mine remarked to me that whatever the outcome, the press would probably make it out as the Group of Death. In fact, the tabloids have jumped the other way, going for the 'east peasy' angle.
I see a small group of religious extremists have once again infringed on the freedom of the general public by creating a culture of fear.

Heather had an interview for a job as Team Leader on her ward yesterday, (a job she's already doing in an acting-up capacity on another ward) and I'm very happy to report that she was successful!
